Mitsubishi plans to produce eight new electric vehicles in the next four years!

Mitsubishi is well under way with this new project and expects to put its electric truck on sale globally by April 2013. It's not clear if the light truck will be part of Mitsubishi's North American line-up, but its other electric vehicles will be available here. Mitsubishi hopes to sell 42,000 electric vehicles in 2012, double the number it moved this fiscal year. The American market is a crucial part of Mitsubishi's goals.

Collect box tops? Ford Helps Schools Raise Money With General Mills!

Every time a consumer purchases a Ford vehicle, orders a brochure, or watches a product video, they will be able to raise money for schools of their choice from Ford, thanks to the company's new tie-up with General Mills' Box Tops for Education (BTFE) program. Ford is the first automaker to partner with General Mills and its BTFE program. The Blue Oval hopes to generate at least $1 million in support for schools throughout the U.S. during this two-month program through box top redemptions.
